Honest confession: I've done so many massage modality trainings in 26 years!

My continuing education transcript looks like a small novel. 😂

But here's what all of it gave me .. the ability to actually read what's happening in your body instead of just following a protocol someone else wrote.

That means I can tell the difference between:

Tension that needs to release and tension that's protecting something

(those are not the same thing, and treating them the same way can set you back)

"I sit at a desk all day" shoulders and "I haul fence posts on the weekends" shoulders

Pain that responds to pressure and pain that needs a completely different approach.

That kind of discernment doesn't come from a textbook.

It comes from working on thousands of real bodies, over 26 years, paying attention every single time.

Here's the one thing I can't do:

I CAN feel what your tissue is doing.

I genuinely CANNOT feel how you feel it. That part is yours.

The more you tell me , what's been nagging, what helps, what makes it worse, the better the work gets. Otherwise I'd just be guessing. And if I were that clairvoyant, I'd be doing readings on a sailboat in the Caribbean, not working out knots in your traps. 😂

One more thing..because your skin lives here too.
